Positive Input Ventilation System Installation | Grays
A recently completed installation of a domestic positive input air circulation system PIV within a property in Grays RM16.
Leigh Electrical Contractors were contacted by the landlord of a rental property in Grays RM16 that was suffering from some of the worst mould and condensation that we have ever experienced.
The problems had started when the Landlord had an EPC test carried out on the property and was recommended to upgrade the windows to new PVC. The problem now faced at the property was that there was now no air circulation around the house.
With the tragic death of Awwab Ishak from black mould in his families rented flat Leigh Electrical Contractors have been working with many local landlords and councils to install PIV units to stop mould and condensation in their properties.
Leigh Electrical Contractors recommended a Envirovent system. the PIV unit runs 24/7 and filters the air from the loft throughout the house. The Envirovent PIV not only eliminates mould and condensation it also filters out air borne particles like dust and pollen.
A PIV unit is the most cost effective, and efficient way of preventing mould and condensation. After the initial layout the units cost around £5 a year to run on the lowest setting.
