A recently completed installation of a domestic air circulation system PIV within a property in Greenwich SE10

Leigh Electrical Contractors were contacted by a private landlord that had become concerned about the increasing level of mould and condensation that was happening in the property in the cold weather.

Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is a ventilation system which has been specifically designed to improve the quality of the air within the property. By circulating the air it reduces condensation forming on the windows and walls which leads to mould.

The PIV introduces fresh, filtered air into the building through a central unit, typically located in the loft, which then distributes the air to the living spaces. The air is filtered from the warm air in the loft, ensuring a healthier indoor environment. PIV units are particularly effective in buildings with inadequate natural ventilation or high levels of moisture.

Leigh Electrical Contractors made an appointment and made a site visit to talk about the different PIV units. As the property was a rental the landlord wanted the cheapest option so Vent Axia PIV unit was chosen.
